Level 62 HELP! What are these doom gems all of a sudden? How do you avoid them? Thx!

Doom gems have a counter on them so you have to get them to disappear by making matches with them before the counter runs out. If I recall, there were two kinds. One is actually timed, so if it says 1:30 on it and its counting down, you have a minute and 30 seconds to get rid of it or you lose. The second kind goes by the number of moves you make, so if it has a 10 on it you have to get rid of it in 10 moves. You'll see it counting down from 10 with every swap you make until 0.
