While this week's update isn't in my taste, I do recognize that some people love the Americana theme. I'm sure there are going to some very happy people out there. Personally, I'm trying to view it as a nice chance to dedicate a week to increasing my gold and gem amounts.

Although I do like the brown/glass table, I wish it was a different color other than brown. But I don't feel like this stuff belongs in a bakery, besides the bench. There are soo many other themes TL could do that I think people would appreciate more. How about a birthday party theme, carnival theme, ice cream theme, masquerade theme, casino theme, luau theme, vintage/retro theme, or a safari theme...

I must have missed it, were people clamoring for a president's day theme? ;-) #sarcasm I could see something like this around 4th of July, but president's day? Yuck. It would be nice it the themes kind of flowed into one another, but this in NO way goes with any of the Valentine's day stuff. It just seems like such an off the wall choice for a theme. Really seems like RS is getting way better stuff then BS. I was waiting to expand my bakery so I could decorate with the new stuff, but I won't be doing that now :-(

I'm in Chicago and its freakin cold and snowing, why the heck would I want a 4th of July theme and since when has anyone on this board ever expressed an interest in a Presidents Day items. I don't like in general THIS update, but a new recipe always is welcome and a new appliance, too. We can decorate our bakeries with some elements mixed, we aren't required to put ALL of American President theme, jiasjiasjiasjias.... it's crazy. jiasjiasjiasjias

I hope a beautiful Easter theme or St. Patrick's theme or Father's Day theme.

We like few things more than others.

I like the updates. HOWEVER, this should have come out last week BEFORE President's Day! Still, we can use some of the decor for 4th July, etc. TL seriously needs to work on their lag in updates.

We got a Swedish update in RS, and I got some of that stuff. Maybe people in other countries like our stuff like we like their stuff. I'm kind of hoping for a Greek theme someday, since I lived in Greece for several years as a teen. I'd love to see Baklava and Rose Ice Cream in BS and those plus a whole slew of other Greek recipes in RS... :)

What a hideous update! Shame on you, TL! How hard can it be to give us more coin decor?! Just one measly picket fence and that's it? It would be nice if you could give us a proper update that's actually fair and there's a choice of coin AND gem content. So ridiculous. And do your research on recipes! What exactly is western bread & biscuits? They're just biscuits. Period.

This isn't the greatest update... I'll totally agree with that. An Chinese New Years update for Feb would have been much better... I was saving up for it and now... Yeaaaaahhhhh... This stuff. I AM American and love my country and this stuff doesn't appeal to me either.

One thought: since TL has been having issues with late holiday releases, they could have saved this content for late June (early July 4th) and re-released the older Valentine's Day decor instead. That might have given them a chance to get ahead of holiday releases again.

I think the 18 gem End Table is super adorable in the shade it comes in and in its elegant simplicity. The White Fence is also nice. While new appliances are always exciting (when they have more than 1 recipe), the bread recipes are pretty drab for Bakery and reminiscent of the nice but not-so-exciting Italian Oven (Garlic Bread recipe, wai?!) or Classic Bread Oven. I think I'm accustomed to fancy, colorful, pretty recipes in Bakery but I do think plain ole' bread recipes deserve a place in the game too, even if they look like clumped up mud, so I do think the Clay Oven is justified. To sum up, a couple nice pieces but not my favorite update; not sure if it's due to Americana theme being unappealing or if the devs' representation of Americana in Bakery is just not my cup of tea.

Nothing really for me, just the oven. This update is more 4th of July...and even then, I'm Canadian. (I would love to be able to decorate for Canada Day, actually :P) But I like the new oven, it's got a fireplace like the fireplace oven, which is cool.

I'm guessing bakery story design team has some template for chair,table and counter so there's not much design differences . Maybe using unique colors will give some impacts. Like fuchsia or turquoise. It worked on RS, in my opinion.
