A letter to Agnes

I just got this quest.
it says "Search at a lv.3 library (Better library, better records.)"
Does it mean i must have lv.3 library or the one with better level would be okay?
I already upgraded my library to lv.5 and hate to buy another library and upgrade it.

I'd say it reads as level 3 or better so you'll be fine

All you need to do is collect from a lvl 3 or higher library. Since yours is higher just collect from it. That is it.

I have two Level 5 libraries and it took 5 days to get the letters. Definitely random. Be patient. Much better drop rate than the Alicorn parts. lol

In The Letter, Part 4, Agnes asked for 50 glimmerdust, but she took 97 glimmerdust out of my inventory. I had 98 before the Add 50 glimmerdust ans I had 1 glimmerdust when the rainbow was unlocked. Be careful of that tricky woman.

From my experience it was every time I collected from my Library. I completed the goal a little over 24 hours as I built a second library which saved me 16 hours. :)
However the 4th letter took a while to arrive, roughly 4 hours after handing over all 5 books. I had to collect from Old Thomas's house twice.

Thanks everybody for the tips on how to best collect the old books. (Btw my first old book came from my level 4 library as I collected right before upgrading, another useful tip I learned on the Forum). The tip was to collect from Old Thomas's house right before collecting from the library. Only didn't work once, so did this collect in 5 out of 6 tries!!! Now if I could just find as reliable a way to collect Mermaid Scales and glimmerdust LOL! Oh, and how to get the tablet to drop another shard. Got the Knowledge Shard on my second collect, so I was hopeful, only to be disappointed now time & time again.

Try building another library and see if you can increase the number of times you can collect from Libraries.

Thank you so much for your advice! Fortunately, I tried a tip I read on the forum, which was to collect from Old Thomas's house right before collecting from the library, and it worked quite well for me. I have now collected 4 books and I'm waiting for my last oneSo happy, the rainbow isn't far now!And anyway I don't have the resources to build another level 5 library. So I'm glad I'm able to manage from 1 of them. Thanks again for your kind answer

I have Collected from my level 3 library three times without any drops. So I upgraded to level four collected twice still no drop. Is the quest operating as intended? I am currently level 17 is there also a level requirement?

That strategy worked for me. I got the 5 books in 6 collects.

Awww, Thomas's last letter was really sweet. It is a little weird that you get to read it when it's clearly personal and he doesn't want you to know why he's staying. I guess one if the privileges of being a ruler is you get to read everyone's mail :D
I hope Agnes turns up eventually to help beat the baron (and be with Thomas)
