No status bar for recipes

I'm sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before. I just started playing on my Samsung tablet (Android based), but there's no status bar that tells me how many times I've baked a certain recipe. Will there be any way to tell me that I've maxed out on a recipe?

That happened to me when I passed a certain level the bar came up

I believe at level 8 or 12, you will obtain a status bar for recipes. Hope that clears up some confusion.
