How to trigger sir pig

My daughter is playing CS now and I can't remember what triggers the sir pig quest line. I find a lot in forums about the golden items but not about triggering the quest itself.

I think the quest triggers when you hit about level 9. Or it did on my nephew's game and there didn't seem to be anything else triggering it.
