Missing bush

I just finished crafting a flowering bush in my love shack and when asked what I wanted to do with it, I tapped "place" but it told me "this item has been stored". However, when I checked my inventory it is nowhere to be found. So, where did my bush go and how do I get it back?? It took all those materials and 4hrs to craft!

Ok, so I closed out of the game and went back in and my flowering bush magically appeared. Guess I should have tried that first :-)
