I got a sale notice that I could get 275 gems for 34.99 so I bought $50 on a visa gift card to get gems (275 for 35$, and another 105 gems for 14$).

It charged me $37 though for the 275 gems, and now I can't buy the rest of the gems cause I am short the 2$ I was overcharged.

Can anyone explain to me why I was charged 2$ more than the stated amount? The pop up said 34.99, but the charge history clearly says $37.26 went to team lava (and a separate of 1$ went to itunes for the transaction) meaning this has something to do on TeamLava's end??? My boyfriend who charged for dragonstory using his credit card got the full sale price, no additional fees, so I know it's not from taxes either...

Please explain!!!

The forum cannot help with purchase charges.

Depending on you state, itunes does charge taxes.
To get a explanation of charges, you can contact support@teamlava.com.
I am pretty sure that TL only charges the stated amount .

I would advise contacting itunes though your purchase history and asking for a break down of the what the extra charges were for.

Also I think when using a Visa gift card , the gift card will also charge you. Check the instructions on your gift card for charges they may have .
