Remove friend request

It would be nice if you could remove a friend request. I have several people I've been waiting on to accept my friend request and I would like to remove them. Any suggestions or ideas?

Glad to see I'm not the only one bothered by this problem.
I had someone ask to be my friend & sent
A friend request to them, though they have
Not been online since they asked. I have been looking at
Their pending status for 6 MONTHS!!!!
There is an edit button to remove friends but not
Dead pending requests!
There should be a timer that pending
Friends be deleted after 1 month ( 1 month is
Long enough for someone to decide they want you
as a friend). Or an edit button to remove the pending
Friend request. Maybe even add their names to the
friend list as a pending friend to be able to use the remove
Button to delete them.
Please fix this. It's irritated me for way to long.
