Feeding in Valentine

It's just a little issue that I've encountered in the valentine's version and that is when feeding the dragons, the cost of each feed is vastly more expensive than the other version's. A dragon at level 1 in the nowmal takes a single feed but in valentines it takes a feed of 5 and at the other end taking a dragon through the 9th level to evolve to epic on valentines its 2000 per feed where on the others it is only 1000 per feed. Is there any eason for this?

Yes, because they want you to go through your food stock quicker in an attempt to goad you into spending real money to buy more. That's how these free to play games work. Go into your original version of Dragon Story to feed your dragons. It's cheaper that way.

This is now seemingly the normal across all of the DS variants. Is it really just a ploy to get us to spend money on gold to boost our food stocks? If that is not the case then it is rather under handed and sly as it is not mentioned as one of the items in the list of the updates. I would love a comment from TeamLava about this.
