Pinky Gems!

Have anyone obtain the pinky gems yet? I don't know where to find them. Mining digging seem have no result :(


Edit: Pink Jewels come from Sparkling Mines and from mining rocks.

The drop rate for these jewels has been increased. See this thread (http://forums.teamlava.com/showthread.php?46448-Tiny-Little-Update-2-15-2013)for the good news.

I got one from mining my dark formation,just 1,that's all. I have mined a lots of iron rich rocks,but no sight of pink jewels. I found tree log finally has some use in this edition,it drops wood,sap,glimmer dust,kissing dust and seeding,and love wood.

Thanks for ur info. The sad thing is that I never obtain even one dark formation from exploring dark cave T__T. I think I will spend ton of energy to find one :((

I got a pink jewel from mining an iron rich rock. Was so surprised when I saw it! And now the knightly bling bling needs so many pink jewels to be crafted!

I have only manged to get one, and that is despite the constant bashing of numerous large rocks, iron rich rocks and small rock piles to keep up with stone and iron ore demand for building upgrades!!!! I think Thurston is in for a very long wait.

I got 4 of them(from mining and chipping away at the rock outcroppings)so far and was able to make the Baron's sceptor. Now working on Thurston's bling!

I got 2 more from iron rich rock,now it's 4. Have too many to do with too little energies,and I need more Mermaid scales for dark cave adventure and love essence... :(

Never mind,I still have 15 cathedrals and 16 windmills waiting for me to upgrade... It's not likely I can ever finish upgrading all in my life time. Just reflex ;). Collect those pink jewels slowly and chill.

i finally managed to get 3 and am patiently (?) waiting for my valentine scepter to be completed. I don't even want to think about how long it is going to take me to get 10 for Thurston's bling!!!

FYI - its actually worth upgrading your mines to the max - i just got two from one mining! :D

It reduces your waiting time too - well worth it! :D

I agree... I haven't gotten any from rock smashing, but I get them at least every other collection on my upgraded mine. Not so much on my non-upgraded one.

I started with the proof of love quest first, and since I needed a ton of pink blocks, I've been using most of my energy there. It turns out, I'm almost done with building all of those items, and in the meantime I have gathered enough pink gems smashing those rocks that I only need one more. And I've even been able to keep up with earth wisps with all of the coal! So, my advice is to plan on mining a lot of rocks and keep a steady pace with your other quests and it really will come along. If i get the last gem today (fingers crossed) I'll start it before I go to sleep tonight, and if not I'll probably craft some extra valentine flowers to lure the love-skunk pests :)

Totally up to you. I went ahead and crafted the scepter for the Baron, which started a new quest mentioned above called "Proof of Love," which requires quite a bit of crafting (who am I kidding? a TON of crafting). I'm working on gathering more gems for Thurston's bling, so I wouldn't know if completing that one triggers another quest.

Collect 3 more for making 3 absorption crystals to finish the quest of clearing love magic by going to the new adventure. Then you can be done with it,cos the rewards is tiny... And as others pointed out you can get scared wing and corn from standarded adventure.

Exactly! I've been stuck on 2 pink jewels for so long. They're so hard to find, drop so rarely, Thurston and the Baron are going to have to wait for a long time to get their quests completed

I only had 2 as well, and those were dropped before the Vday update!! I ended up buying the 3rd gem needed to craft the sceptor for 20 gems. How will I ever get 10 for the necklace?!

Don't know I'm lucky or not. After yelling about pink jewel drop rate, I'm smash outcropping everyday, and now I have enough pink jewel for sceptor, bling quest and love adventure. :)

It is nearly impossible, I havent gotten any in the last 3 days! Iver chopped down about 8 outcroppings! 0 luck and non from my mines... This will take so long! but they did change the thurton goal to 10 gems.. so maybe ill finish it before easter!

The Valentines goals are not timed right? It takes too long to finish goals in this game. The pink gems are rare i guess and its going to take a while before i can do the goals that require pink gems. :(

I am averaging 1 pink for every 10-25 mining attempts on regular outcroppings. Seems to be the same rate no matter the rock formation, although I have limited sample size for the dark cave formation. I cleared 3 (30 minings) and did not get a single pink gem.

As pink gems are the only item that will be unattainable in any way after the end of the event, is there any reason to stockpile, ie will the adventure quest even be available for us later?

You can get the alicorn stuff from any adventure, not just the valentine one.

Neither have I, they are supposed to be very rare drops (think golden apple). In the other threads people have reported getting them from both the bandits and the dark caves.
