I have been playing bakery story for about 2 weekd now all of sudden I started getting text message alert today that my food was ready and/or going to spoil this is great but am I getting charged for these text messages and if so how do I stop them.

These texts are called Push Notifications, which can be disabled in your settings tab.

I have no idea if they count as "Text Messages"? Norman, can you clarify this?

depending on your Internet service you might be charged for Internet access to use this facility. For instance: I use wifi at home for free but if I get a notification when I'm out, my phone service charges me for Internet data. Your set up may be different to mine, so worth checking into.
