Not getting credit for soulmates and baby's

I have had this problem before with the game not registering a baby or a soulmate and have finally spent the gems to get rid of the notice... My theme park has the soul mate and baby but its saying I have neither...so I'm not getting the points or gold for it and I do not have the gems to skip it...help! Love the game, just wish it would work right...

This is because you will need to complete the goal requirements after you receive the goal. If the soulmate, or baby were added prior to getting the goal, it will not count.
