Give them some red wine and light up scented candles (or torchlit paths shoudl work too). That should set the mood!
Since Passion is super rare, i can see the annoying magic dragon ****ing it for everyone -.-

Yeah it's not easy. I've gotten 10 magics, 3 left heart, and 2 right heart dragons... Still no passion dragon.. Gonna try for the Caesar dragon next.

I haven't tried nearly as much as some people but so far I've just gotten more hearts and an Athletic.

Just keep at it. Your doing it right. Magic takes 20 hours so it's understandable that it's taken this long

Just hatched my passion dragon. Feel a bit upset with this quest as I was expecting to recieve my Rose Arch. This is not the case. You do not get the arch. You get the ability to now purchase the arch for 50 gold. Seems a bit sneaky to me. I would certainly not have purchased the dinky little flame paths for 50000 coins each otherwise. Don't get me wrong. I love the Passion Pit and all the new updates, but it seems out of reach to me to have any of the new decorative features. So if you're not going to shell out 50 gold bars at the end, then really not worth rushing to complete the quest in the limited time frame.

Or if you're on iOS check your storage. I believe it's where the rose arch goes? Maybe some kind iOS user can confirm this.

Thankyou very much accisse. Is there a way to withdraw my last post? I checked my storage and it is in there. (It would have been nice for the game to direct me, lol) Yes it took very many tries to get these dragons .*Not as may as Diamond which I do not have at level 94 :( *. I finally went with Athletic and water for left heart. The right heart was just Water and Fire and I was lucky to get it right away. Passion gave me a few Magics, but I'm sure I'll need the purple gems at some stage for an Amethyst (spelling?) dragon, so yeah... Thanks again. At least I can have the archway, even if the other deco's are too rich for my blood. :D Good luck with your breeding. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm beginning to think that these goals are not really obtainable by normal players and are just there to spur folks into purchasing gold. I've tried THIRTEEN times now to get the LeftHeart and RightHeart. If breeding was truly random, then I should have a 1 in 4 chance to get the needed RightHeart. Instead, I've gotten 2 LeftHeart, 1 Athletic, and TEN dreadful Magic dragons at 40 hours each before I can sell the egg. It's ridiculous and, frankly, so discouraging that I'm contemplating moving to something with more of a return on investment. When 77% of your breeding results in the most time-consuming and least productive option available, I have to think that the odds are better in Vegas and this game is definitely stacked against the player - especially if you play on an Android device.

I'm in the same boat. I have tried 13 times now. TEN of those 13 resulted in a Magic. It's ridiculous. Odds are definitely stacked against success on this one.

In my case I got left heart and right heart both on first try with just simple water and fire. I am just waiting them to evolve so i can breed for passion. I have trouble getting caesar though. I've tried every possible way posted here but all tries ended up with fruitful...

Try breeding athletic with magic. Or charm and water. What matters is that you get three elements in the mix - water, fire and magic. :) you can do this by using a hybrid and a pure element, or two hybrids (but I would stick to the hybrids that contain only the necessary elements, and not an "extra" one)

Because tl earns their money from people who are not patient and buy lots of gold to speed up breeding and hatching until they get the dragon they want

Ok, I know I'm likely to be sounding like a parent or lecturer here- so I apologize in advance and I don't intend to offend - but I really do believe this . . . The challenge tension would get lost if we could cancel the breedings and we'd all have pretty much all that we want relatively immediately. I know it's something that many societies have moved away from, but in our affluent world there is a lot to be gained from learning that there is some reward in delaying gratification. I for one, despite my very frequent frustration (in particular with fruitful!!) do enjoy the having to wait :)

I know you're serious, but I can't stop laughing (it's that nervous crazy laugh - like when the bathtub flew thru the floor in the movie "The Money Pit"?) .. I have been reading difft game discussion groups for months now (I play 8 games - don't ask) ... and I am of the FIRM BELIEF that DRAGON STORY NEEDS A SUPPORT GROUP AND GOLD ANNONYMOUS (like gamblers annonymous) for all the time, energy and $$$$$$ spent on just this ONE APP. I kid you not, no other game causes people more grief. BS and RS whine about updates and food costs, pet shop about gems and more space, but Dragon Story is its own beast!! I have forbidden myself from using anymore gems just to "speed up".

You would think that of ALL the games, Dragon story would be one where you can get more than 3 gifts a day - I mean what if they bumped it up to 10? What harm would it do? but 3??? I can get 20 red hammers a day in Zoo Story but I can only get 3 bars of gold per day (if ya lucky and you're up next on your nbrs list to gift) in a game where dragons and decor cost hundred and in some cases thousands of gold?????

COME ON TEAM LAVA!!! Dragon story people keep you in business .. they don't storm the palace, they are a resilient crowd ... and we are waiting!! On breeds, eggs, evolutions, ... and you. I rarely complain and that's not what this is .. but seriously? They CAN do better by us re: the gold gifting, or even lowering the breeding times.

Now I'm up for suggestions on where and when the Support Group and Gold Annonymous members would like to meet !! We can do it while we wait on those 20hr magic eggs .. lol

I read this 2x and I get you ... I really do ... but unfortunately we are the products of our environments. For example, I call the youth of today "The Microwave/Veruca Salt Generation" - "don't care how, I want it now!" ... lol ... And we as a society are of the hurry up, go go go - at least here in America, from what I'VE seen. I agree that the "instant gratification" does stem back to a child-like mentatlity, but um ... 20 HOURS???? How about 6 or 10? I understand the delayed gratification when it comes to obtaining a degree (education) or in the raising of a teen who FINALLY gets that the world isn't over because she couldn't go to that party (ugh lord that was a long weekend), ... but this is a game app... and I just believe they can do a bit better by us - whether we're impatient or anxious or just have lives and try to work the games around the lives and not vice versa (i.e. meeting time frames for goals and contests). But I agree with the context of what you're saying completely - I just think the application is somewhat misplaced regarding a game app. :^)

The "delete" tab for eggs or breeding will never happen, I think. Just because it would totally **** TL financially. Most gold is spent not to purchase dragons, but to speed breeding and hatching. Allowing this tab to exist would take away the need to purchase gold.

Oh you just click and 7000 coins are taken from your account! There are no actual torches, you just have to click on the green button in your goal!

Have 1 Unicorn dragon and Send 5 Gifts to Neighbors. I'm pretty sure that the 5 gifts of gold will be part of our daily 3.

I assume in order to get the Taste Testing goal, you need the Virtue, right? I have one in the breeding den and couldn't find the gold and I got worried for a second ;3

Yep, that goal is also gone for me and I was also on the last part. I've been trying to get a passion for a week and only ever get magic or right heart. Lost track of how many of each of those I've sold. If you're not gonna make it possible to get a passion dragon, why take away the goal? After 4 or 5 tries, you should be assured of getting what you're aiming for at least. Otherwise, it's totally frustrating and no point of even playing if you can't accomplish anything. I get the point about not making it easy, but 4 or 5 attempts is not making it one bit easy.

What are you talking about ? Check your market place, the dragon is there and therefore still available to be bred. The goal for the archway is gone, but the dragon is still there.

Yes you still breed a dragon as long as the dragon is still showing in your market to buy.

I want to now for the task where they ask you to buy a Black sands (setting of the second sun) can you buy the big black sands instead of the regular black sands?
I want to buy a big one so that I don't have to upgrade it, but I want to accomplish the task as well, so will it count? Has anyone tried this already?

Small that holds 1 dragon is $500,000, Big Black Sands is $2mil and holds 3, however the hybrids can be housed in their hybrid colour habitat, don't have to be in black

Can by why do that. For example, Goblin dragons makes $3,200/hr at epic. Why put that in a habitat that only holds $2500 (assuming no boost). Don't forget that you might have a fire dragon and the ruby dragon in that same habitat. You're clearing every 15 minutes to make sure you get maximum benefit.

I agree. But for players who can't afford the $2 million, at least they have an option. At level 23 or there abouts, that is a tremendous amount of coins to have. I have a level 21 island and can only accumulate about 200,000 plus coins. At that level,I am thinking about saving for light hab and egg. Not a couple million coins. Wish I could transfer coins from my level 94 island to my level 21.

I had gold goals with Bakery Story but I could only bear to go up to the Level 14 goal as the game just made me angry :P
I think though that you have to wait for the goal as they are different for different people at different times, I haven't had any of the 'story' goals you mentioned released in my Dragon Story - I have in Castle Story though, but I didn't do them so if they do get released in my Dragon Story I'll be able to get the gold :)

I did a few game goals for gold rewards. Slots made me feel braindead and drowsy and it goes so slow to level up...what a pain. Did the download and the first sets of levels and deleted.
Fashion Story I hates it with a passion. Bored to tears. Did the download and the first sets of levels and deleted.
Bakery Story, started by being bored then I got more coins and actually got into the decorating of the bakery and am still hooked as today.
Restaurant Story is boring me now. Everything is much more expensive than BS and way less interesting. Did all gold goals and will probably delete soon.
Bubble Mania is a challenge and fun. Can become infuriating. Will do all the gold goals and then see.

Hey guys, let keep the posts on the actual Dragon goals, not the promotional goals.
Also please note that while TL may provide opportunities to try out their other games they do not have Quests/Goals that reward gems for downloading or playing other games (IOS devices).
There are other Goals that do have these rewards, but there are not rewards for the Goals you mentioned.

I just read your post from 02-07-2013 that you got the Left Heart dragon using Athletic and Water. I'm going to try using these dragons to get my Left Heart dragon. I got the Right Heart on the first try using Fire and Water, but since then I've gotten about 10 magic and 5 Athletic. It's been sooooooo hard. Whew!

I have the same thing, once the goal is completed, you will get another popup to purchase any decoration, then you will get the 30 gold for installation of a new game or 15 gold to reach a certain level.

The Pink Dragon Goals and Pink Dragons should be available in the Spring Edition. Some Goals are a requirement of others, so you may have to complete prior Goals to see any in particular you are expecting to see.

A lot of us aspire to accomplish all the goals you present to us. However, for Android users, the only ways to complete the "Lazy Lizards" goal is to either buy a Quartz Dragon or spend 20 gold to skip that step. Would you please consider removing this goal for Android users until we have the ability to craft? I don't want an unachievable. (or, at the very least, unreasonable) goal on my list. I'm obsessive and it bugs me. ;)

You have one. It requires you to buy one which means but a new one. If it had said have one it would have counted your previous one.

No don't buy it. Android players need to email TL that they completed the goal and they will send you one free gem cluster. If you want more, you need to buy them but don't do it until you get your free one.

I agree, though I don't necessarily think Gold needs to be the reward for everything or many goals at all.



Goals Aren't Very Rewarding
Goals should give rewards based on how hard the individual task is to complete and based on the player's output. If a goal doesn't have rewards that are equal to, or greater than, the player's output, be it Silver, Gold, etc, there isn't much incentive to do them.

Let's look at an examples:

Grinning Like Mad, which has the prior goal of Fairy Tails to be completed before it becomes accessible.
It requires the player to have a Chesire Dragon and to spend 25,000 on a Dragon Lollipop.

The reward is 20,000 Silver and 400 Experience Points. That doesn't seem very rewarding. Granted, you are getting over half of your output back.

The Dragon itself is hard enough to obtain, let alone spending another 25000 to complete a goal for it. From the output of this goal (ie. 25000 for the Lollipop) and the difficulty of obtaining the Dragon, a reward of 30000 Silver and 800 Experience Points wold seem more reasonable to me.

I used one of the "better" examples though looking at it at the time, it seemed better than what I remembered the goals to be.

Your examples seem to make more sense. Though I suppose I didn't mention the 6 million habitat for Fairytale, which constant amounts new Dragons habitats of that price is quite draining.

If you have an Android device, you can transfer your IOS account onto that and the Dragon Sun should be in the market. Then you can transfer your account back onto your IOS device.

Otherwise, IOS can't get get it.

Not to be negative but I personally don't give a hoot about goals & concentrate on limited dragons which I can't get....what's wrong with this picture? Lol
