help please!!! level 40 3 stars???

Can someone please help!!! I have literally prob spent at least 4 months trying to get 3stars om level 40 last night I got over 120512 points and still only got 2 stars even the the score bar thing was all the way at the top to the 3 stars...other then that the highest score I have gotten is around 50k....someone show me how to get 3 stars... I'm going broke just buying gems to get to get 3 stars lol

No 3 stars for me either. I get really high scores and the score bar goes all the way up....no 3 stars. Tips, please.
