Going from past experiences and RS, I imagine this weekly update will be in addition to any valentines stuff we get. Although there's been no announcements or teaser there is an update as we all know. RS didn't have a valentine weekly update, u just downloaded the vday edition and all the stuff was there. I think that is what will happen with BS.

I agree, the slight shades of gold would work and I've been wanting it in my bakery. But it's too expensive yet again. And when it considered Rome is a very romantic place. But this is like deflating a balloon before it'd even blown up. The order is backwards considering we got good things in the other games. Boo!

As marrina said it came from commercialism. Chocolates and pink stuff have nothing got to do with Saint Valentine. So yes the Roman update has more to do with Valentines day than pink stuff but I understand your disappointment in not getting the pink stuff etc, I'm thinking there might be some on the way to us yet....fingers crossed.

Hee. The term" romantic" actually does come from Roman as well.

From the wikipedia Romance Languages article:

I have some out in restaurant, but only because I was unhappy with what it looked like so I was renovating. Now that the design is set I'll go back to winter at least until February.

I was really hoping to see those candy chairs come back because they were not around when I first started, they would look awesome in my bakery! Hopefully we will get something pink/red and Valentines Day-ie soon!

Here's my issues:

• I thought the update would include or be in conjunction with a valentines edition update. There was no teasers or notifications about the weekly update which makes it feel very minor
• there is too much decor that cost gems or far too much coins ("coin traps") recently which makes me feel like u just need some instant purchases of gems. Offer me a sale and decrease the appliance price and I'll buy some, promise!
•! You removed all of last years seasonal content because u said there was lots of exciting new stuff- in the immediate two updates since that u have not offered one new recipe!

I appreciate TLs attempt to do something more realistic and grown-up. BUT this Roman theme was a poorly done. It could have been SO MUCH BETTER. Romans are known for beautiful mosaic tiles. The new flooring is an embarrassment, it can hardly be described as Roman. And the worst is the wallpaper (I'm really sorry if someone likes it BUT)... It reminds me of something you would find in a cheap funeral home. The wall scone doesn't go with anything else... it's all just WRONG !

Where is the REAL Roman decor... Urns, topiaries, a true mosaic floor, chairs with arched backs and saber legs or x-stretchers. People might have liked this theme if you had worked on it a little harder and truly represented Roman decor.

I'd like to see more realistic theme but you need to do it right. I'm sick of all the unicorns, mermaids, giant lollipops and stuff that doesn't belong in a bakery... but this isn't right either. Maybe Roman was a little to difficult and intricate to pull off. Please try a different realistic theme, one that you can do a better job of and people will like.

I have a kindle as well and I can't even get the Christmas version. When I emailed Team Lava they simply said: "Sorry it's not available". Why is this? And why did they take away so much stuff? No more blue star floor tiles or sparkling cider or yellow stars... there's so much taken away and everything in it's place costs diamonds. I'm very disappointed in this recent update.
