...does this just mean they visited? I haven't made any requests for supplies, but continue to get this message. I also get the message that someone "liked" furniture, which does make sense. Thanks!

Have you requested for supplies a long time ago? Maybe the neighbor has been away or offline for so long that when she/he is back on finds your request (which was send ages ago) still pending in her "News". This happens to me a lot, but now I know why. Hope this clears everything up. ;)
