Stars Not Appearing

On levels 52, 53 and now 55, my stars didn't appear after completing the rescue. For example, I just finished level 55 with 2 stars but when it went to the island view again there were no stars and It didn't unlock the next level. I also had 5 energy when I played the level and after completing I have zero. Does the game deplete more than one energy per level at this point? What happened to the stars I earned?

Actually, that didn't work. The three stars that disappeared in my ID auntmichel have not come back. It has happened on my other bm game (also iOS) as well. Went back to collect three stars on all levels. Got three stars on each level of first two islands yesterday, now today it doesn't appear that way (ID micheloh62). TL games seem to have a lot OS sync issues. Here now, gone later.

The stars don't appear for me at all. I finished the first 6 lvls, yet lvls 2-6 were still locked even after I had gone through and beat them.
