Help me build up my baking XP IRL!

Although I can look up just about all of the Bakery Story recipe's online, I wanted to ask all of you if you have any awesome recipes to share that are any of the baked goods in the Bakery Story game. I'm thinking about baking one goodie each month or week that's from this game and do my best to make it look identical or close to the images in the game. Mind you I'm no pastry chef pro, but it would be fun and I could post pics - success or failure! I plan on doing my 1st goodie this weekend. Any suggestions? Should I start with the easy stuff first or try a different category, etc? Let me know! Better yet let's do this together!

You can never fail with the chocolate chip cookies or brownies. I think the cheesecakes and pies might be another good place to start. I think I may be inspired now to try a few myself. I love baking, but I've been staying away from it because I tend to eat what I bake and I'm competing in an office post-holiday weight loss competition... Bye, bye, sweets!

I meant to say that I found this recipe on allrecipes. They had a video for it too which I found very useful. This cake looked very intimidating to me, but it was really easy to make.

Wow, awesome job! I like this idea :) If it were me I'd probably start with the brownies; easy to bake but you get to make them into cute hearts with chocolate drizzle on top ^_^
