Confusing Coins

i have always wondered why tri color dragons like mirage, turkey and scarecrow dragons earn so less coins. shouldn't be 3 color dragons earn more than 2 color dragons? and why does the ruby dragon only earn 459 coins per hour while the emerald and sapphire dragon are earning more than 1,000 per hour?

Do you collect them right away or by hour ? also try restarting your ipad using hold and home button or reinstalling the app .
