Some of my customers are leaving angry cos the tables are taking too long to clear

Anyone have this problem?

How many customers? How many tables? Maybe you just need more tables.

That happens....but it's ridiculous because by the time they would have reached the table the plate would be gone. TL should adjust the timing a bit. My seats are rarely full all at the same time. So why should we have to buy more tables?

Makes no difference how many as it's not full - the plates are just lingering too long

I know it seems like you just dont want to do it, but I would add more tables. It worked for me. I have 30 tables and never have an unhappy customers. You just need to have empty tables when the customer walks in the door, and you also need to keep in mind that a customer might already be on their way to an empty table, so while it looks empty it may actually already be taken. But if you really dont want to add tables, well then I dont know what you can do to solve this problem.
