They said staff Would be limited due to the holidays. I'm sure that's why we didn't see much activities. Some games got the release. I'm just surprised farm isn't out yet. It's about two hours later. Oh well, going to be another long Thursday. Because I do nothing until my updates roll out!

all my update times seem to be topsy-turvy!! I am in the UK and usually get BS updates just after 7.30 pm, FS updates just after 9.30 pm and DS updates are waiting when I wake up Friday morning. But tonight I have no BS or FS updates yet the DS update came through a couple of hours ago!!

There's way too many appliances now, surely they can go on regular ovens? And every new once has to be a build-it too!...

There are two goals. I already have the cooking sheets from a previous goal, I think.
They add ovens all the time to burn your money.

Got the update. But the Winter Oven is locked by Goal??? I wonder if it is a level you need to reach or another goal??? I am level 62 so I am up there. I don't see that it unlocks with one of the 2 new goals they gave us.

I restarted my Kindle fire and found the goals, but the items I need to purchase (the snow counters and the winter oven) are locked by goal.... but I'll see if completing the first goal "Stormy Weather" won't unlock it... It seems that the 4 cooking sheets has already been completed previously... all I need to do is serve the red velvet cookies... I'm excited, haven't gotten any goals for awhile... it's nice to be included again!

Stupid update. So ridiculous. Those trying to master before holiday removal can't even enjoy this update with all the locking madness. I don't have to master but it's an obvious fact. TL, you're starting off the year on the wrong foot everywhere.

Don't forget, you may want to wait to purchase any n!ew items in case they are required to complete a goal!

The goals are time consuming but simple. You do the one that starts with the red velvet cookies first. They unlock the goal for the counters. Then you will get to the goals for the oven. Kinda like the Xmas ones. I skipped some with the few gems I've left. I'm not about to make no dang strawberry cakes!!!!

That owl picture is smaller than a tic tac. I don't know how to post pics so didnt bother with snapping the goals. Won't know until tomorrow what's next. First you make red velvet cookies, then strawberry cake (6), I'm now on the part where we make ten banana breads and ten chamomile teas.

Between this and restaurant it will be a long weekend.

Looks like the oven makes 2 recipes: cookies (snowman & snowflake) and blue cupcakes. Think I'll skip this goal and focus on the seasonal recipes I need to master before 1/7. Wish we had more time to master those recipes. Wonder how long this goal will be available? Wonder if we have enough time to skip this until after the 7th?

There are quite a few goals u have to do to complete to get the oven. I dont remember which one was to get the counter. I used some gems to complete goals too.

I hope u mean the seasonal recipes on the reg stove...the ones in special appliances are for u to keep if you built the machine

Thank you, when I first asked, I didn't have any new gifts showing... then they popped in a little later. And I was wondering the counts, and even after I saw them, I wanted to be sure it wasn't just one of those... maybe they were saving the other for something else, or it was worthless like that bulb part they gave us before Xmas that I have a bunch of for nothing.

If you're still on strawberry cake then you haven't reached the part you need to. After the cakes you need to move on to the next step.

You have to buy 1 ice table and 1 ice chair plus visit 15 community members...After that I believe it's a bunch of banana bread and chamomile tea [12 each].....AFTER THAT your counters will be unlocked and that other goal can finally be completed...Visit this thread (http://forums.teamlava.com/showthread.php?43607-Winter-Goals-2013) for more information.

Still can't buy countertops...



Once you complete Stormy Weather, you will receive 4 additional Goals in succession (Refuge -> Frosty Furniture -> Wait It Out -> Snowed In). The last Goal in that chain will unlock Snowy Counter so you can complete the Keeping Busy Goal.
