Magic garden goal chain

Hi all. I've dug through the forums and tried to find this exact answer before posting, but I'm so excited and can't find it: should a new goal chain unlock as soon as my magic garden is unlocked? I've read ahead and learned I'll need faerie jars and cabbage, but I haven't been asked to do anything. Should I be patient and collect from the garden a few times before expecting anything? I appreciate your help, folks. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You'll need to collect from the garden. At some stage you'll collect something that will trigger the next goal. Check this thread for more info:

Thank you. I didn't realize the purple cow was the thread I needed to search through. I'm pretty convinced you're a gaming angel. This game is certainly retraining my brain's patience mechanisms! I will keep collecting from my garden.

It's official, I have zero patience. I sped it up with some quest reward money and *POOF* new goal. Completely worth it. I love this game.
