Basic Gifting Questions

I'm new to the gifting process, and have some basic questions:

How many gifts can be sent/received per day?
How much gold do you get in a gift?
I have accepted a few gifts, but no gold is added to my account and now they occasionally show up in my news feed as pending gifts, with the "Use" button unselectable, what does that mean? Hopefully it's not a glitch.

Hi, Kazullie! You can send 3 Gold per day and receive up to 20 Gold per day. One Gold per gift. :)

To ensure you are receiving your Gifts, be sure to Accept them. If you're still not seeing your Gold total go up, try an action like visiting a neighbor, which will ping our servers to make sure you're connected.

Someone else sent a gift and it worked, but the other three are still there and I can't accept (use?) them, so I don't know what to do about those.

Have you gifted 3 people today? If you haven't gifted yet, previous days of gifts will show on the news feed.
