Like I said, I bred gold x emerald and got 14 hours. Sped it up to see what it was. Elf egg. Probably too early to enter me in the contest, lol.

Idea isn't to try and win. Just try and breed and don't use gold to speed after you get 1 to get another. Personally knowing i'll need scrolls later this is a good dragon to breed for that, so i'll keep the combo going. However after i get the 1 for my album i won't use gold anymore.

I think it would be awesome if they had a sweepstakes for crusader dragon. Eliminate the 10 tickets for getting it to max lvl so we can sell them straight from our nests. Then ppl would be on all day breeding crusaders, I would probably spend countless hours breeding. Or something simple like breeding a fire dragon. You get one entry for breeding the dragon and one entry each time you level your dragon up by feeding it. So if you hatch one and feed it to level 10 you will have 11 entries in the contest. Hope this helps.

If you hatch and get 1 dragon to level 10 you get 11 entries. 1 for the hatching and 10 for the levels. If you hatch and get 2 dragons to level 10 you get 22 entries. It's 1 entry per hatch and 10 entries for each that get to level 10

I never heard anyone buying coins. But its really up to you. If you have the gold, and you feel you need to go ahead. I don't know what level you are, but you can amass a large amount of coins by clearing your habs frequently throughout the day, getting visitors. Have as many habs as you can with at least one dragon assigned to each one.

If you are thinking about epicing your elf for the contest..think twice before buying coins...there are millions of players and your chance of winning is slim to none, so save your gold for something more obtainable. If I had 250 gold to blow, I would think about another nest rather then coins. My second nest is a luxury I couldn't do without anymore.

Had a wonderful holiday with dragon story:) I now have one snowman dragon and one elf dragon with both all grown up and evolved to level 10 and both so gorgeous:) I love both of them as all other dragons! I'm having a hard time breeding a diamond dragon.....any suggestions on what to breed for a diamond dragon please? Thank you all:)

Between expanding, making food and the cost of clearing I can't do it all. With the new pink habitats costing so much I can't maintain. I've gotten four pinks and had to sell three. I bought a second nest so that was cool. It's frustrating, even with clearing multiple times in a day. Guess ill keep the gold and wait it out a little longer.

I rarely evolve to epic because of the food quantity! I've sold or traded the epics I had when the new iOS design came out. My island is a mess. So I'm rushing to expand, clean it up and tend to the dragons I have. Them restart on breeding the ones I gave away. I have my ruby and emerald so I'm done. I've been playing for about six months or so. I have up scorpions, eagles, parakeets, sea breezes, Pegasus by accident. You name it. Sign....

I gave up! I'm not using the 20,000 servings of food I'd saved up to feed no silly elf to epic. Especially since I've seen islands that have well over twelve snowman or elf dragons! Those are the hardcore players my one elf can't compete against. This snowman is driving me nuts. I'm giving it a go for a couple more days, just because I want it or else I'm moving on to something else.

Well for the sweepstakes, in order to get an entry you have to hatch a Snowman or buy one (which is not fair) for those of us who are absolutely unable to get even 1! It was a waste of my time with all this daily trying and not even 1 entry. I have tried so many times and disappointed that I do not even want one now. I couldn't get but the Pumpkin Dragon during Halloween and Turkey for Thanksgiving. Then couldn't afford to get him to level 10, and still can't. So I give up. I know how the players on the android are feeling, how frustrating! :(

It's not just android. I'm on iOS and gave up last week with trying to feed my elf. Over 15,000 servings of food to to from level 9 to 10 is over the top. I'd rather use that to get my other dragons to a breeding able level 4.

You do have a chance. I'm almost the same as you, I had a Snowman which I evolved to epic and then I got an Elf and evolved it to epic. [it did take a ton of food. I harvested Upgrapes all day yesterday] Since I got my Snowman before the contest started, I only have 21 tickets, but you have 22. I found a sweepstake chance calculator on the net, and I have 1 chance in 1660 of winning. That's 0.06%. You probably have a bit more. Maybe 0.07%?

Either way, 0.06% is such a tiny number O.o

Will I got them and I fed them till they turn to epic , But I don't know ... Snowman dragon went to epic during sweepstakes contest .. And elf dragon went to epic in Thursday after 12 but I didn't see who won on sweep contest?!, well.. I got elf dragon ( 14 hours )by fairy and fruitful lvl 10 (1st try) , and snowman dragon(21 hours) got it by landworm and forest-fire (5 or 6-7 tries) AND MY ID :lolii12 , but I feel really sorry!, I accept people who in level 40+ ,

I truly feel for those who were unable to get a Snowman/Elf for the contest and those still struggling to obtain one before they disappear. I've been trying for Parakeet for a month now and because it, I've gotten three Elves. I just want the little birdie.

Yeah, the increase of food for iOS users makes me cringe. My friend uses Android and she's always bragging about getting her lights and 3 color hybrids to epic while I struggle to get mine there. I understand it kind of balances out the version differences but maybe they could make new farm addition that gives like 1-1.5k food for 100k+ coins and take like 6-8hrs? I'd appreciate that a whole lot.

It's weird but I've already seen 2 players having the same name of Island (on Castle Story another TL game).
I think the name of the Island are not unique, only the ID is.
The Pern I have as neighbor is level 33. I don't see Elfe neither Snowman Dragon on his Island.

This is one competition I could never compete in seriously. I got the dragons easily both times but the feeding levels ****ed me each time. And then the folks with multiple dragons and gold to burn, no way. I'm happy it's over and hope the winners have a blast with their bounty. Now I can stop getting popups. Oh wait, I still have about three of the still.
