Thank God, I didn't buy small pink habitat like the goal ask me to do, I just bought big one, thinking of eventually always keep big habitats.

Ever since the arrival of the black dragons, it seems something has changed to make these supposedly rare or super rare dragons into ultra rares. I don't have a problem getting the original element (virtue, night, cosmic, mythic)--it's getting the hybrids that's insane. Before the black dragons came, getting pink hybrids was only slightly more difficult than your average rare. In fact, I got all of them except origami and flower. But since the blacks came, it has been another story. I tried for a solid month to get ANY black hybrid. Except for 3-4 tries, EVERY try for a month was for a black. I finally got a bat, but that was it.

Since flower dragons have mostly short fail times, I decided to try for that. For two entire weeks, I bred nothing but pink and green. Here are my results:

19 Life
6 Love
6 Wild
7 Fuzzy
1 Tusker
1 Forestfire
1 Pegasus
1 Laserlight

After two weeks of nothing but fails (and I already had all possible red, green, and white combos, so there wasn't even a fail I wanted), I was so discouraged that I gave up. The last week or two I've mostly been trying for medusa and saturn, although unsurprisingly, I haven't gotten those either. The only bright spot was when I got a planet, which I didn't already have.

TL, doesn't this illustrate the absurdity of calling these dragons RARE?? Doesn't it show you how frustrated your players are getting? This is how you lose players!

My 4.5 month, 364 try run for the Kite is more proof that splitting is stupidly common. Common TL, make splitting slightly less persistent.

Are you saying that the pink will split into red and white, fuse and then become a Virtue? Not possible unless a Diamond was involved.. Not green.

Virtues red/light cannot breed another virtue. You need the other dragon to contain red or light too. strange, but if virtue splits to red and light, it won't create another virtue.

It happens. I've been using naga and emerald or virtue and emerald and I've been getting virtues, life, wild and Laserlights galore. So its definitely doing stupid weird things. Makes me sick!

I put virtue forest together one time and got it, that never happens! I got my second one using same combo trying for naga :)

Oh dear, that is certainly worse than my experience! Sure is proof that pinks and blacks are NOT rare or even super rare!

Quetzal and Virtue is how I got mine. Got Naga with the same combo :)

I was trying firstly for goblin (red/black) then bat but after weeks of getting anything but these or any other black hybrid I decided to try for a cosmic (yellow/purple) & got this 2nd attempt. So black hybrid are definitely super super super rare!!! But the thing is now the main tasks I have left are all for pink or black hybrids so looks like I'm going to need a lot of patience over the coming months...either that or give up!!

If only I had Quetzal! Oh well, Forest and Virtue it is. I gave up and tried for Medusa....my lucky streak has run out.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm so happy because I just got one with Pansy and Diamond, first try :) I immediately traded my Pansy afterwards since it's really ugly. I only kept it because I could use it to get a Flower ;)
