That's not what we meant when we said we wanted a tree. One week before Christmas, the time when you should be nice and give us good stuff, and instead you give us a box with items not worth 25 gems. My sincere thanks for your hard work and dedication.
Boxes should be abolished....and NOT given 1 week before x-mas unless you give us a new catalogue too

I can tell you that the angel is 4th place and the gift wrap table is 3rd. I normally don't buy gems but I liked this box and I'm very happy with the angel and gift wrapping station

Also I had been holding off on decorating my boutique until I finished the Christmas Goals. As a result I'm not too sure what the new decorations are this week. If you let me know I can then add the images to the first post of this thread.

Yea I like it but not opening the box anymore. I like the sunglasses I seen on very few avatars too. Green with Christmas tree around them very whimsical don't know if they are box item or what from last year.

Just seen the catalogue...wow...gingerbread...i'm happy it gives us 8 gems to earn...but aside from that...just not liking it...not even 1 part of it...will be going in Halooween section of store if I ever earn enough to expand

Wish I bought the ginger bread dressing room when I had the chance...was hoping we would get a nice, gorgeous LTO...or chance to buy last yrs tree...instead I bought nothing and saved them for nothing...still so disappointed with this update..was hoping for a lot of great things being Christmas is in a week

I know I'm disappointed alot with the whole season's decor in general. I loved the goal item displays are great and the Ice Skater figure are my favorite's so far everything elese is just so/so

I really like the bow racks...I think those are cute. But as for the rest, I'm not that excited. I love the little angel and if she or the nutcracker were out of the box, I would pay for them. I just don't feel like spending 24 gems on something I don't want, or spending more gems than I want to for something that I do. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a good Christmas surprise with past LTOs, a gem sale, etc. And it's only Tuesday. Since there's not LTO yet, maybe there is more to come.

Meh..il save my 130 gems for another month. There is nothing exciting. I've no room. And Xmas items would look silly only a short period from now.

Now I'd you'd offered the winter waterfall I still want to boost from my neighbors shop, I'd have purchased additional gems. But again, meh.

I posted a comment to above, but when the thread got moved, my comment got deleted. Anyway, I agree with what you say. I'm just not into the boxes in general. When I played the Halloween box, I got the Witch Lamp (which I totally didn't want). Then I played the Autumn Chest and got the Gourd Lamp, which is basically the Witch Lamp in a different color and without the hat. I wish TL would just get rid of boxes and let us purchase the items separately. I think TL would actually make more money (they would from me at least).

Had I known what was in the holiday chest I would not have bothered with it at all.
If TL made the items in the chest available for general purchase they would have to make them quite expensive, considering you'd need to spend a tone of gems before you get the 1st prize. I know that some people get them within a few goes, but they are a very, very small percentage of the total players.
My issue isn't with spending gems on the chests, it's that the items in the chests (holiday chest) are terrible, and had they been in the general catalogue I would have never purchased them.

I'll leave one more comment I would like to saty I appreciate the design teams efforts they come up with some really outstanding designs. Just this time of year and what was offered in the chest is a huge dissapointment. I will not be trying for the 1st prize this time either. I've been lucky once with 1st prize and that was with the spring chest I got the display when it was first introduced with only opening a few times. Yes I do have 2nd place items as well from most boxs.

I to have limited number of Gems for about a month and don't want to spend on this box. Out of box items would have been better for us this time of year. To pick and choose from.

However not to be to much of a debbie downer I would like to wish all those that open the chest best of luck in getting the prize they want the most.

Luckily I bought that display. Had a long debate with myself to buy it or save up gems for Christmas decor...I'm so glad I bought if! I was not expecting the decor to be this bad...and was expecting a tree. Box is not worth opening...I like the sweater, gift wrapping table (not worth 25 gems btw), and the snow globe with a girl in it. Hate the other stuff. Last yrs box was better (from what I remember seeing in neighbors shops).
And TL....25 gems for a sign that says sale??? No thanks. Would be huge waste of gems.

Several displays are out of the box, including the Cafe Display & Paris Display from the Paris Box. They're expensive, but better than taking a chance on the box.

I am so excited for the Paris Cafe Display!! I'm a little hesitant to buy it though because I'm afraid the prices will be readjusted like at Thanksgiving. For example, at Thanksgiving, the 2nd place items were adjusted to 30 gems and the 1st place items to 40 gems. Now they are 40 gems and 50 gems respectively. TL was really kind and refunded the difference last time, but I don't want to take that chance. But thank you TL for offering the Paris Cafe Display and the other items! I am so happy!!!

Thanks to TL for bringing back LTO displays and box items. I would be very pleased if they in the future would bring back some of the first LTO displays like the fairy girls, last winters displays and hopefully the Valentine display.

I guess it doesn't hurt to wait, but I get paranoid that the offer will somehow disappear prematurely or something else will prevent me from logging in if I wait too long.

The catalog I think is one of my top 5 if not 1st most dis liked ever. Im only doing it to master for GEMS. It'll be short lived in my store I give only 3 weeks maybe less to sale out. If it doesn't Im storing the racks/counters. I'll take the coin loss of sales.

How much have you been asking for this?! I'm like a kid at a toy store. I don't see the fireplace. I didn't even have a gem sale but that waterfall was going to be mine. My four year old and I are fake pageant crying, marveling over how beautiful it was. Then we burst into laughter at the silliness of at all.

Hi I'm having the same problem as someone else said about not having last years items. I have turned both my iPhones 3Gs off and that didn't work so I restarted it and even that did work on either. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall and I have been having connection issues with the App Store and even downloading updates. pls help as I have been waiting to get some of the stuff from last year. Hi I'm having the same problem as someone else said about not having last years items. I have turned both my iPhones 3Gs off and that didn't work so I restarted it and even that did work on either. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall and I have been having connection issues with the App Store and even downloading updates. pls help as I have been waiting to get some of the stuff from last year. Thx in advance. Oh and I have the newest version of iOS

I didn't have it at first either. Unfortunately I has to uninstall it, you may have to do that too. iTunes had been giving me problems with making purchases. I finally had to contact support and the made it work. Hope it does for you too!

In all the games I've been going back and forth taking peeks. Wish I had more gems to blow! I'm trying to squeeze I'm iTunes card for gifts.

Try the regular every day app. That I know is how Android got it and I think IOs...Hope for you to.

it's in the floor items in the design tab for 48 gems. and in my sequence, it's located in between the broken mirror and autumn outfits display, somewhere in the middle of all the limited time displays. i am using the regular fashion story 1.5.1 on iOS

Can any of you long-timers remember if tl did a super reduced gem sale last year like they did for Black Friday this year? Just curious. Also, has there been any further thoughts re: the re-released items going down in price like thanksgiving? Don't get me wrong- I'm super grateful, just hesitant after what I saw happen in November. Any thoughts/advice/past experience from last year you might provide would be awesome. Again, I'm super happy that this release has made so many people's day: it's nice to read a thread where everyone's ecstatic :-)

Re: prices going down - the black friday prices had the incorrect prices to start with. These were adjusted and people were refunded.

Ok. Thanks for answering Maguar! I knew the gems were refunded after the mishap, so I think that the price this time kept me reluctant. (For example, the subway jewelry display went for 30 gems over thanksgiving, but is currently for sale at a 40 gem price.) So just the fact that they are different, even with the correction factored in, confused me. But most math confuses me, so.... ;-)

I think it is really sad that we have to take a step BACKWARDS to get the Christmas stuff as it is only available on the even older, normal FS and not the more up-to-date (haha) World Games. My game keeps pausing and processing ever since I switched back to the normal FS :(

Why was this moved here? I wasn't talking about goals...you don't have to do the goals in order to get these new winter decor....I'm on a kindle and didn't get the Christmas goals anyway. I'm talking about the ALL gem winter decor items under the floor decor tab.....they are all gems and an outrages amount of gems!

They did leave out a coin item from year the north pole Santa sign. I know because I started after Christmas and at the time close to Valentines I wanted to buy the rose pillar accident bought the north pole sign. Sold it cause I needed the coins only playing about a month a the time..lol It frustrated me cause I saved my coins to buy the pillar didn't get as much back in the re-sale, don't know how many coins it cost though.

Everything else was 40 or 50....why do we have to spend 70 gems just on one item??? This was supposed to be Christmas...the season of giving. Team Lava just reminds of the scrooge. Money is all that matters.

Maybe! I would be happy if they brought the old catalogs too. I never mastered them. It takes me forever to master catalogs.
