I've been collecting from my Sir Pig and Tabernum for abt 2-3 wks, but no shard or adamant...dont knw Y...

However I've got a purple cow by completing Ivy's quest - so happy :)

I got one today! Not sure if it was piggy or the adventure. I didn't see anything drop from Piggy and for the adventure everything was hidden behind a lot of coins, so can not say what brought to my kingdom... Anyone has two or more?

I check google for Adamant and adamantium. Turns out adamant has been used many times in litterature as a very hard material to build stuff like armors. Maybe we will forge a super armor for Thurston with the new update?

I'm at level 30, but still sr. Piggles don't gave me adamant. It's become an obsession. If i collect from sr piggles I say : adamant, adamant. Am I the only one who doesn't have it?

All I keep getting from sir piggy is truffles and I was maxed out on those ages ago.
So to take revenge on sir piggy for not giving me Adamant I roasted him up and served him with truffles.
Hopefully I'll get another sir piggy and he'll be a bit more of a prince charming. :p

I know you know your way around but I have to ask:

Are you checking in the all or material tab in your inventory?
Have you tried force closing and deleting?

1) I checked in both all tab and material tab
2) I just deleted and reinstalled the game yesterday hoping maybe will have a better change of getting the wings. My sir Pigglesworth drop a ruby for me after I reinstall after months of no rare items. That's is when I decided to check how many adamant I have got as I remember I got 2. (Just want to confirm). But can't find it anywhere. Oh well maybe the reinstall removed it. Since it is not needed for anything now, I am ok with it. Just want to know if others face the same issue.

You're best bet now is to email support@teamlava.com and get them to check your game. Hopefully they can let you know what happened.

I didn't need it, but I like to have one of everything in my inventory, just so I can enjoy the artwork. :)

I got an adamant from my deep mines today, one from Sir Pig a few days ago after never having gotten any since starting play in October, so maybe the drop rate has improved. If/when I ever get four, I'll finally try to upgrade my deep mines (hate having two mines that have different collection times). Guess I'll try to accumulate enough living wood to make those ornate beams and architect's paste for magic cement since I have no other goals (still no dragon egg).

I have never had any adamant since the start of game. Getting a bit fed up of waiting nearly 3 weeks since the update for any to craft the bar to make the night glimmer sword. I have never skipped but I am thinking of doing now, just to progress from the boredom of only collecting from buildings every day. I was going to buy Adamant but can anyone confirm it would be better to buy the bar for 100 gems to craft it than buy adamant or do I need to have the adamant (120gems) ?

Does this still apply? I upgraded one of my mine to lvl 4, I see it needs 2 adamant but I don't see anything about the requesting part.

The option to request adamant was removed as it wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.

I had 100,000 xp in my main game before i had any Adamant. Now with the help of the new trade and some better fortune with the deep mine i have 7 adamant :D

P.s i also play on two other devices and i think they both have 2 adamant, one being level 28 and the other just got to level 30 today.

I have 5 and nothing to do with them. I'm at level 26. I got mine from sir piggy like 4 months ago was the first one.

I have only ever received one (I'm level 30 & have been for a number of months) and this was after Team Lava adjusted the drop rates.

people were really struggling with getting adamant for the Griselda line (10/17 Update) & TL supposedly adjusted them, although I have not seen any real change.

This is what Glimmergate said *before* they adjusted the drop rates. (10/17 update, post 206 - sorry don't know how to quote from closed thread)

"Do you have two deep mines? If you collect from them daily, you should be getting on average one adamant per week. The Jeweler's Trade in the Royal Exchange also has a fairly high likelihood of dropping adamant... maybe try that?"

I collect daily, do the jewel trade & still have only ever received one.

I love Castle Story yet I think I must be one of the unluckiest players ever, I play every day ( lots of times ) although I have a rubbish signal at work. I seam to wait for ever everything to drop, I spend Gem's occasionally for example for the burning ember after over 20 adventure's, but have most of them through playing other games. So I still have never had adamant drop and now desperately need it for the quest line.............................................

Wow, I just got 2 adamant from doing jeweler's trade. Stunned. I only ever got the one from Sir P, never from my deep mines which I collect from twice a day. I probably have done maybe 20+ of those trades but it was still a nice surprise.
