Red Velvet cake is one of the best and quickest ways to make money. It seems you have to mix it up with higher serving size recipes, though, in order to not run out of food.

I personally have little interest in the decorations, and I can achieve my goals of throughput with my bakery at its current size, so I have no motivation to expand my bakery, so I actually have coins slowly accumulating, still it is only 4m but it is at least a start.

Cooking Earl Grey Tea all day, every day will earn you the most money. AnnasCoffee told me so, she makes 250,000 a day (including her daily bonus).

Earl Gray Tea is almost equal to Red Velvet Cake. The difference is that Earl Gray Tea sacrifices a little profit per plate for more plates.
Red Velvet: 1,225 servings, 7.02 profit per serving
Earl Gray Tea: 1,510 servings 5.87 profit per serving

In total Earl Gray will net an extra 400 coin per batch. Red velvet cake is nice in that since it has fewer servings it works better if you are trying to clear cheaper food.

I think I'm averaging 150k per day, but I'm baking lower profit food to master all recipes....however since my food cost is about 150k per day, I make essentially nothing, lol!

I'm starting to throw out food which really goes against what I was raised with: eat everything on your plate. I know it's virtual food, but it still hurts =(
