? re: xmas update

I'm running on an Android tablet platform and I installed the Xmas version, but what I want to know is - can I uninstall the original now? Do I keep the orig. and delete the Xmas after the holidays?
I'm trying to keep my game running cohesively, but my notification popped up and it took me to my original game before I had noticed, so all the work I did there didn't show up when I tapped the Xmas version .
Please help; very confused.

You can delete the regular version for now. It's not a good idea to actively use two version of a game at the same time. Things may get out of sync.
