Make a Snowflake!


Contest and Rules:
-Items you'll need; Paper. Scissors. Glue/Tape.
-Items you may want to use; Decorative items (glitter, cotton balls, pipe cleaners, etc). Colored Pens/Pencils
-Decorate it however you want.
-Get yourself a piece of paper, any size. It can be any type of paper that you want to use. Old newspaper, a fresh blank sheet, colored, or ripped out magazine page.
-Then fold your paper before cutting your design. There are different ways to do this part. Here is one common way to fold (http://www.highhopes.com/snowflakes.html). Another using newspapers/magazines (http://www.michelemademe.com/2011/11/reader-question-how-do-you-cut-your.html). Here is a fancy 3D version (http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-3D-Paper-Snowflake). And I'm sure the internet (https://www.google.com/) has many more options.
-Once your snowflake is done, take a picture. Use a digital camera or if your device has a camera on it, use that.
-After taking a picture of your snowflake, save it to your computer, then upload the image to a free image hosting website like Imgur (http://imgur.com/).
-Once the image is uploaded to an image hosting website, multiple links will appear. Look for the "[IMG]" link that says something like "forums & message boards" next to it.

-Only 1 entry per person.
-Your entry must be posted no later than Tuesday December 17th by 12pm PST.

Prizes:
-9 Winners total.
-3 First place winners will receive 75 Gems to the game of their choice (375 Gold for Dragon or Monster Story).
-3 Second place winners will receive 50 Gems to the game of their choice (250 Gold for Dragon or Monster Story).
-3 Third place winners will receive 25 Gems to the game of their choice (125 Gold for Dragon or Monster Story).

I had way too much fun with this. :D I had to use posterboard because my design was too big for normal paper. xD From the outside in, it's an Epic Form Forest Dragon, the tree from a Big Green Grove, the crystal columns from the Big Green Grove, and assorted plant matter. :3 My Forest Dragon, Nakata, would like to evolve into her Epic Form for Christmas. ;)

Cutting 12 layers of posterboard at once isn't pretty. x_x :P

I haven't gotten mine either. It takes them awhile sometimes, but you WILL get them. I've won a few contests and it can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 weeks...
