10 percent of over 1 million players for testing is fair. How would a staff of 10 be able to find all the bugs. Signing up for beta testing would be fun tho

That's what beta testing is, a select few playing it to iron out glitches. I assume the staff did test it, most software goes through in-house alpha testing as well.
