Vietnamese don't care when someone sneezes, or we joke (I can't use symbols): "Chac ai nhac may/ban/anh/em/...(in Vietnamese, we have many personal pronouns) do". It's mean: "Someone is talking about you" (in both positive and negative)

In Gaelige (Irish) we say, Dia leat - meaning God be with you or some say it like this, Dia linn - meaning God be with us. Either one works though.

lol In Japan we don't say anything when you sneeze. For us, it would be rude to bring to light the fact that you might be sick. It was kinda weird to be told 'Bless You', when I came over to America. lol

In Spanish you say either Salud (Health) or Jesus. My husband is Croatian and they say Nazdravje (to your health) and as we live in Germany... Germans say Gesundheit (Health)

This is why i started collecting sneeze phrases, my mom has allergies and i have seen her sneeze 9 times in a row. I used to only know bless you and salud (spanish) and i would alternate with those every sneeze but then i started saying diffrent phrases with each sneeze in different languages

In France when your hear someone sneeze once, you say "A tes souhaits" (To your wishes) and the second or third time, depending on people, we don't agree ourselves :D you can say "A tes amours" (To your loves)
But the sneezer has to respond :
"Atchooo !
-A tes souhaits.
-Merci... Attchoooo !!
-A tes amours !
-Que les tiennes durent toujours (May yours last forever)."

After 3 or 4, if it's a friend/family or someone close in anyway, I usually end up saying "Oh ?a suffit oui ?" (Will that be enough yet ?) :p

Me too ! I was only 8 years old though. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pataya Beach and other places... I remember vividly the dancer that posed with me for a picture, with the long golden metallic nails they wear for dancing, the beautiful gems tiara/hat. Nice people :)
