More restaurants (Mexican, steakhouse, sandwich shop, etc), more stores (like electronics stores, sports stores, music stores, home stores) night life (clubs, bars, sports bars). Definitely more variety in high rises, both residential and business. These things would make the city more realistic.

A bus stop would be awesome as well as a mall.
I'd also like to see different varieties of tree decorations such as fir and pine trees.
Car decorations would be really need and add a bit of life to the city. We could place them on our streets.

ok, so I went to the facebook app games social city and college town. they have EVERY item you can get of the limited selection in city story, plus dozens more. here is a list of items you can get that are not in city story (the format is the same, some buy with in-game coins, some with purchased 'city cash'):

candy store, newspaper stand, sandwich shop, toy store, pizza parlor, pub, car dealers, bus stop, bowling alley, seafood restaurant, mexican restaurants (2), sushi restaurant, art gallery, drive-in, tv & radio stations, wal-mart type store, hospital, baseball stadium (they have the field too like in city story, but this is a major league stadium), hardware store, book store, concert venue/amphitheater, barber shop, casino, dentist, airport, court house, carwash, mall, yoga studio, bbq stand, electronics store, optometrist/sunglass store, music store, record store, camp ground, mini golf, video game store, salon, bike shop, hot dog stand, pool hall, fitness center, museum, karate dojo, skate & surf shop, outdoor store, video rental, aquarium, art museum, laundromat, TONS more residences, TONS more business buildings/skyscrapers.

Now, city story is much better looking, and it's a phone app while these are apps under facebook on a computer. But I can't help but to think that if they made these game into apps, city story would be done. PLEASE Norman, make these items/venues available, and none of us will ever leave, guaranteed. continue to never have updates beyond the silly system of paying $5 for something you don't choose, and we'll all leave once other options become available.

I would love to see more skyscraper options! Like modern ones and tall hotels and such! Maybe even make condos where they are tall and modern and use the 4x4 and use have of it for the building and another half for like a pool attached or SOMETHING!! Just please come out with an update!!

Team lava really should just update more of their games and keep customers satisfied with their old games and not make new ones and abandon the old ones.
I can do with a lot more stuff around the city, like tall buildings, more landmarks, A side of the city to the sea, different cuisines of restaurants, etc,.........

First, let me just say that I love this game. I spend entirely too much time playing it, as evidenced by me taking time to post on a message board...

With that said, this game has so much potential but seems like it's stuck in version 1.0.

So, following the theme of the thread, here's my wish list:

First, if this were truly a CityStory, then the view at night would be even better than the daytime view. Unfortunately, that's probably too complicated (or time consuming).

Things that a "city" has, but "SuburbStory" doesn't: VARIETY; arts, culture, shopping & a train station. How about a 4 story walk-up with ground floor retail? Why is there only one retail store?

We need expansions...then more buildings. I don't know why they can't make a nighttime view...ngmocco makes one for their pet game which is fairly simple. There are a lot of things they can do, they have amazing artists, but stupid execs. Look at that dog of a game Treasure Story...I deleted it after 3 days. I agree with the poster who said they should try to make their existing customers happy. I think these games are meant for younger users in mind, some of whom have the attention span of a gnat. They keep pushing out new games to attract more of them, instead of keeping the loyal customers happy. How long does it take to make land expansions, especially when they are so small? And what city, even suburb does not have a Post Office? TL, get off your butt and take care of this.

Skyscrapers as tall as the empire state building would really finish my city off nicely. A nuclear power station or some industrial warehouses would set off my little industry district. And yes more room please! 30x30!
