Hummmmm, I bet your right on the appliance. If so, I hope it has more than one recipe on it. I dont have the update yet although I have the new gifts. Usually I see updates on Thursday.

Fun as it is to make French Fries and Onion Rings in the Orange Deep Fryer, we thought the appliance might be a bit hard to acquire for newer players, so we made a quick change.

From now on, you'll find those two recipes in your Oven.

If my appliances are locked, I take one from the restaurant and put it in storage to open it up. Then you can build the new one. You shouldn't have to wait to level up. I have moved an appliance to storage to be able to build many times. Hopefully, this works for you.

I see why TL changed it because low lvl players (eg lvl 20) can't build appliances w a minimum lvl req. Storing appliances won't help them.

Frankly I don't see the point of "gating" specialty appliances. It's tedious enough to cultivate a neighbor base who'll reliably trade you the parts to build. Isn't that self-gating enough?

Then we have Holiday Ornament which more than likely will go with some appliance that makes the gingy house and tonights teaser of the mashies snowman. Guys it is possible that this is a large update with the goals and new items. In the past, updates would roll out, some players getting the update on the update day(today), then the rest have to wait a few days.

It looks like this may be the same here, but at least they started the roll out one day prior to the normal update day, so hopefully the rest of you will get it today(the normal update day).

This is so ridiculous! The update is here but there are no goals, no new drinks on the soda machine, no French fries or onion rings, no turtle soup. Just the gingerbread house, new table, chair and wallpaper and counter. Plus a new stove. Android have the food, but not the goals. My iPad2 has 40% of the items.

This has been the most unbalanced release EVER! I'm so upset.

I said it, and it is there in the US Google Play Store. You may have to go to the Regular RS page and then scroll down to the "developer page" and search for it that way, but it is there.
