I can't store my lemon trees

I cannot store my lemon trees. Is that normal? I've tried quitting the game and logging back in.

You cannot store trees and rocks in your storage.

This is not a tree that is consumable and can be chopped down. It is a tree that is watered, like bushes and mushrooms. So lemon, orange and apple trees cannot be stored?

Yup, all trees cannot be stored at the moment. Even the trees that you do not chop down.
