a question on maps

When you ask for maps, is it only once a day? Or once every twenty four hours.

Since I now need 48 maps its now stretching into three days.

If I ask for maps right now, I can ask again tomorrow morning. I think at midnight (PST) you can ask again.

Now you have me wondering that if I do ask now, for those neightbors who don't respond before I ask again, will they get two requests?

You can ask once a day - at the midnight PST reset.

If you send a reuqest that doesn't get filled, they won't have two requests pending. However, they may recieve it days later, when you're in the process of expanding. I don't know that for sure - that's not an official mod response. I've just personally noticed that. I only have 20 neighbors, so no way for me to send too many requests. But the days after I start expanding, I'm still receiving maps.
