Golden apple from regular tree

I just posted the same question in a different thread but i don't seem to get an answer so here it goes again:

I just read someone's post that said that they got the golden apple from a regular tree. Can anyone else confirm that, is it possible to actually get the golden apple from a regular tree? Thank you!

Regular trees cannot drop the Golden Apple.

All Gem animals in the game can be found by doing adventures. The higher the gem cost of the animal, the more advanced adventure you will need to do to have a chance to find it.

Then i guess the person saying they found the golden apple in a regular tree must have confused it with something else.
