Well, it's almost here! The Great RS Update Date! There is a new teaser this week for a much anticipated appliance, the Deep Fryer! The Orange Deep Fryer, to be exact.

Ill never understand why people don't wait to send gifts on Thursdays, jeez! 15 gems for a knockoff Thomas Kincaid picture? The tangerine table is so lovely. But for 75,000 it won't see the light of day in my restaurant. Can't wait to see what the deep fryer makes. Donuts, fries, chicken, dumplings?!?

It's very over the top. Ill just keep my glass tables for the time being. I have a brown/gold thing going and it's been working for me all this time. I went broke when I tried to be cute and buy a bunch of red diner tables. It took me three weeks to get back to two million again. Ill save my coins for my next expansion to some nice coin decor.

Other than that nothing is worth spending all that money on. A table?! No way.

I'm really glad we got the Deep Fryer (FINALLY) but really wish it was a generic coloring this way it would be fine with any decor we had going. I also HOPE that TL will EVENTUALLY release more recipes on it, considering that us PLAYERS have been asking for Deep Fried recipes for a LONG WHILE now and then they just gave us 3??? Seriously? Do you, TL, EVER read the suggestion threads or polls? ADD MORE RECIPES TO THIS MACHINE.

Why are so many RS recipes low in the servings department. Compared with BS which has a lot of high serving recipes, some of the RS recipes are (while pretty to look at) a joke

For the most part these recipes aren't that bad serving wise compared to others RS offers. Jalapeno Poppers ranks 3rd out of 18 for the 2 hour dishes. Mozzeralla Sticks ranks 7th for 16 hour dishes out of 20 and Fish Sticks ranks 2nd out of 14 for the 6 hour dishes. Not to shabby considering some of the portion sizes for longer recipes.

I checked in my shop at lunchtime today but didn't send gifts bc I knew there was going to be a new appliance coming out later. I'm going to send out the gear since Im sure everyone will be sending the orange steel. I accept all neighbor requests if anyone wants to send me a request. Just please make sure to return the favor.
