Help me: advice

OK, so there's this river in my city and in the last month I expanded throughout the lake circulating it. And today I'm faced with a question, should I take the river out of the city and build businesses where the lake once was OR should I keep the lake?

I am bummed that I removed my lake especially after the Halloween update. You can always get rid of it later.

I love the lake,cliffs and pine trees, so i try my best to keep them. It add natural look.
