Social rating

Hi!

Sorry if it has been asked beforer, I searched the forum and found only the FAQ talked about social rating, and it didn't mention this...

I've been stuck in the last three days on my social rating:

The bar doesn't seem to move forward, no matter how much I help other kingdoms. I checked this morning before helping my neighbors. It was at the exact same place it is now, after helping at least 20 people.

Anyone else has this not-moving-forward bar?

That's where it sticks. When I was visiting 150+ people a day it didn't go over that

You have 4 hearts already filled in, that is why it won't go any further. I help at least 100 every day and mine never goes beyond that point either, as I have all 4 hearts filled in. It is basically like the other games, 4 stars, but in this case, hearts.

It just feels weird not to see the bar go away like for other games. I only realized I had reached 4 <3 when I checked my profile!!

Found this thread today, and was inspired to check my Profile. My Social Rating bar has also stuck at the same place for awhile now, but I was happy to see my Profile showed 4 Hearts. :) Maybe the rumored upcoming update will fix it?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? If you still see this, has it been stuck this way for a few days? Or does it get stuck as you are visiting and helping other kingdoms?

Yes, I uninstalled/reinstalled yesterday for a different reason, and a couple of times before that. The social rating bar has always been this way for me; once I hit that 3+ point it hasn't moved since.

Yes, I just uninstalled and installed back the game, force closed my iPad, and the result is:

I was just on 2 full hearts with the same bar level as the pictures above. I kept visiting neighbours and then my rating went up to 3 full hearts and the bar dropped down to 'empty'. Thus I think you will never see a full bar, because when the bar does hit full capacity you get a full heart and the bar resets. So once you hit 4 full hearts that's it, the bar can't go any higher than the 3/4 mark. Or rather the rating probably does go higher than that mark but you'd never see that.
So the social rating is actually based on the 4 full hearts and not the bar.

Anway your neighbours and the CS community only see your hearts and not that bar. The bar is therefore a tool of sorts for you to gauge where you're at.

Hey guys found out that this is a display issue only with iPad vs iPhone/iPod.
If you are at 4 hearts, then you are full regardless of the bar.

Just noticed that my bar now appears full. Looks like it might have been fixed as part of the update.

I just started having this bug this morning. 4 hearts, but the bar looks like the screen caps posted in this thread. Not that worried about it, just reporting.

Yes my bar is permanently stuck there. Have also deleted and re installed to no avail.

I am seeing the same behavior on two devices both iPads but one is older. In fact I can be at three hearts and going on my visits and the bar does not move. Then I pop up to four hearts eventually and the bar stays the same. Not really a big deal since as mentioned the other players only see the hearts, but would be nice if it could be sorted out.

What determines your rating? Seems like I read somewhere it was the number of hearts you popped.

I'll check whether they've got new items, if it looks like they're clearing their wall or if people are having conversations with them. Also whether they've sent gifts or requests. If in doubt I'll ask them to let me know if they're still playing. If I haven't heard back in a week or so I'll tell them to look me up when they start playing and delete them.

My social rating just started doing something weird the last couple days. For a long time it's had the issue noted in this thread - four hearts, with the bar stuck at 3/4. In the last couple days, when I start visiting neighbours, it has dropped down to three hearts coloured in, with the bar still at that 3/4 mark. As I pop hearts, it doesn't change, and after visiting a bunch of neighbours, suddenly the fourth heart is lit up.
I have 88 neighbours and visit daily.

This had been solved in the Valentine's version, but is back in the most update regular version. I know we are supposed to keep playing V-days version, but is too pink for my taste :(

We don't have to. In fact I think we're supposed to play original but there are certain things (upgrade/build info etc) that are fixed in valentine and not original. TL is aware of these issues and I'm sure they'll be fixed with a future version update.
