Guys you could place 1 of each of this outfit on a rack/counter and have a chance to win, it is a raffle. You just get entered MORE times into the raffle the more items you place on Racks/Counters, but just placing 1 of the items gives you a shot. Just sayin'

Actually I think they chose the items for most of the games based off of what level you needed to be to make them. Waffles in RS, Carrots in Farm, this catalog in Fashion, Chocolate Cake in BS, Wheat in Castle, and etc......You don't need to be a high level to have them available to you. This way EVERYONE can participate and you don't have to wait until level 40 (LOL) in order to have a shot. :)

*sigh* I mastered this catalog over a year ago, really wish it was one I hadn't mastered yet. Plus I don't have the time these days to monitor 3-hour orders. I'm working 10 hours a day, six days a week. I only play a few minutes before work in the morning, maybe a few minutes during lunch, and then in the evening if I have time. So I'm mostly doing just the slower catalogs. Good luck everyone.

Yes I'm sure, just like "serve" in RS/BS means to place on the counter from the appliance. They don't say "serve" in Fashion, they say "sell" as serve wouldn't sound right. LOL

Don't they rather say "display"? At least this is what they say in goals.
Some have "Order" and the goal is done at the moment you order the catalog, and other say "display" and then the goal is completed at the moment you display the catalog.
Now here, they say "sell", so that's why i was wondering..

Yes, each time you place one of those 4 items on a rack/table, your name gets put into the drawing. The more you put out, the more times your name is entered and the better chance of winning.

If it was sell then everyone would just block the rest of the sections and only allow that catch to be bought and since the same amount come in at all stores it would be a big tie

Every time you order from that catalog and the place on counter or rack you get a raffle ticket with you name

So the more raffle tickets you have the more chance you have of the pulling you name

I have blocked all clothing but the stated items to be sold! I'm selling the leather pants and the jacket; using a lot of racks!! I'm lvl 43; I do not see that this is going to I anything but cause problems for TL and make a lot of players upset and feel slighted they were somehow over looked. :0/

If someone feels there wasn't fairness in a raffle then ill start wondering about the ages of the players. We don't need to sell the most items. We don't need to preserve them once they have been out out on racks and counters.

We just need to ORDER and PLACE them. They can sell out but your entry will be preserved in the contest.

If this contest doesn't seem more fair than the one for bakery, then this may be our last.

What if the lower level players started saying those of us with the max amount of slots have an unfair advantage? No one would ever win because someone will find a reason to complain.

No one from TL ever confirmed (nor denied) when I asked about the pop up & Rules contradicting each other - just leads me to wonder if this is going to be worth the time and effort that some are putting in it, loading order slots every 3 hrs, maintaining constant vigil to load racks.. Then to only find out it was for naught. Because the "Rules" were not clear to begin with.

Kooky, clarified the confusion in the mass notification post under updates and announcements I believe. You don't have to order the entire catalog. Just one item from the catalog. One item gets one raffle entry. The more you order, the more entries you will get.

Seems much easier than who sells the most. I can't tolerate every three hours.

If you click the link it shows how much items bought should have cost. What did you buy? I remember most of the items wer either 70 or 40 gems before the prices were corrected.

I wasn't sure what the cost differences were on the items I purchased either, as I had done so for 3 different games, so when I emailed TL I broke my list down by game and the items I purchased and let them tell me how many gems I was owed back. Maybe you should consider doing that, to make it easier on yourself and them, and to make sure if you are due back gems, you get them.

yes i'm glad i had an excuse to master that catalog. but it was also a less pesky contest to enter with the 3 hr catalog time vs. the 1 hr chocolate cakes in BS and 2 hr waffles in RS. CSM had 4 hr contracts and 6 industry limit, so that was the easiest to do. i hope i win in one of them!! i wasn't able to send my french bulldogs to a fun room in pet hotel and i def did not get the highest score in bubble mania. as for DS and MS, i was able to breed two turkeys in each and evolve them to epics.

The customer appreciation is awarding 1000 gems to ten players in almost all their games. Patience everyone. Just cause they haven't announced the winners yet doesn't mean they are not appreciating us. It's a two way street. Give them time. They didn't have to do these contests and I probably wouldn't blame them if they chose not to do them again with all this negative feedback.

Because the posts from those who sweat they won't play are getting too much to tolerate. It's simple minded and mean spirited. Considering there isn't anything good to say at all, it makes me wonder why they even visit the forums.

I hope TL doesn't lose patience and give up on giving us a chance to win. There have been contests going on forever, but this is the first time we ALL had a chance to win. By simply doing what we do everyday, be it baking, cooking, ordering clothes, harvesting, breeding, etc.

I'm a fashion story addict but I never participated in this confer that I am fully against...that is gambling, not an addiction to fashion story.
As to all those who are anxious to know the winners...don't worry, it's most probably and with almost certainty it's not you.

There have to be some winners... and you cant lose anything by participating. if you dont participate you never know... after all it is by random drawing this time...

Arrrrrggggghhh, I'm only just reading this now!! I began to hold back on stocking up on the outfits because I had thousands left to sell on the shop floor & I thought the outfits actually had to be sold in the shop for it to count. Not happy as I could've stocked up on a lot more than I did. The pop up wasn't very clear unfortunately :(

Well, any of us could have won, as my neighbor did! I'm super happy for her and for all of the winners! I loved this contest as it allowed me to still hang out with my friends and family over the holiday and participate at the same time. Cheers to the lucky ones!

I'm 100% against this contest as it is considered gambling. I will not congratulate any of the 'winners'...and that is not a proper term to use in the context if the contest. Congratulate people for what? Gambling? Bcs they got the gems by pure chance?

I wouldn't consider what us players did as gambling. To me gambling is something PAID for, we didn't PAY for anything. We ordered items from a catalog and PUT them on racks/tables to be sold to our customers. Because we did that, TL put our name into a raffle and 10 lucky people ended up with free gems.

Where in any of that is someone gambling? How can you gamble when you didn't pay for anything?

I think you've made your point already. You didn't enter the contest and you aren't saying congrats or happy for those who won. We get that.

I do give my congrats to the winners but I dont understand something. I worked hard on this goal. I set my alarm at night and woke up every 3 hrs to collect and make more clothes. I did this all the time but yet, I didnt win. My questions is: What did this people do diferent that I didnt do. I was kind of sure I was going to be one of the winners but wasn't. Im not dissapointed, dont give me wrong is just a doubt I have. Thats all.

As it was a raffle you'd given yourself the best possible chance. The winners may have done what you did or they may have done less. It's just that on this occasion they were luckier than you. If they have another comp it might be you that has the luck.
