HOLY MOLY, this is a record for me, actually got it on my first try, used the OP's suggestion of Eagle vs. Fairy and boom! 9 hrs pops up! I am elated!!! I've never gotten a LE so easily. This is only the 2nd LE I have and the other one took weeks to get. HOORAY TL for making this one rare instead of super rare!!! :)

I bought some gold to achieve this to speed things up but I got my turkey. Here's my results

Pumpkin epic plus forest epic = life
Eagle epic plus forest epic = scorpion
Parakeet epic + fire epic = life

I am fully aware of this as i have breed 2 diamonds let me explain again. When you are trying for diamond now you will end up breeding more three colored dragons now. I have bred wizard fairy 11 times since the release of the aurora and have bred 4 Auroras, hence the name diamond ****er because while going for diamond you will end up breeding one of the three colored dragons. and you don't need those 4 colors you need any four colors.
that is 4 colors not 3. green,blue red,yellow. that is what you need for diamond

So after approximately 3 Life dragons, 2 Fruitfuls, and 4 Firestorms I got a Honeybee, which at least I didn't have. I then decided that if my game liked Firestorms so much I would use it. So pretty sure I just started breeding a Turkey by using Firestorm (6) with Forest (7). Nice to know you can get good dragons without always using epics.

Haiz, I've tried to get that Turkey since it was released. But until now i just have a lot of fruitful, life, firestorm, wild... :( it's seem harder to get turkey than aurora though they're both rares. However, thanks to turkey, i got a scorpion which i can't have before :)

Fruitful + Fire = Scorpion (yay!)
Eagle + Atlantis = Life
Eagle + Fairy = Life (omg! enough already! Silver Lining: at least they only take 3 hrs)
Eagle + Fairy = Fruitful (by now I'm thinking it's just never gonna happen lol)

Just to go from 9 to 10 is 25,000! 5,000 for each feeding. 7-8 you need 1,200 per feeding and 8-9 you need 2,500 per feeding. I got my turkey at level 9 and planting my little heart out trying to get 25,000 so I can get to epic before the deadline!

I was able to get turkey from air/Landworm before the contest started but wasn't able to get any more after the contest started. Oh well, I did try. Hope everyone else had better luck.

Thats just bad luck crazy...! I think i breed the same two dragons 12 times and got 6 turkeys from them, all the others except one was life. The other one was a honeybee. The pair i used was parakeet and fire. That was the pair i used to get my first turkey ( befor the competition ) to. I tried with others befor but just faild but this pair worked for me first time.

i tried honeybee x forest = firestorm
any other combination please help

Finally got a Turkey after numerous attempts and combinations with Level 10 Eagle & Level 7 Fairy. On my final evolution, but only had to feed the normal apples, 1,000/ea at level 9. Why are the evolution feeds so high for others?

But do not know how to breed fairy dragon
and do not have time nd gold to buy or speed up the procees from 12 hrs current

I was using honeybee and forest too. I decided to switch it around and used forest on the left, got my nine hours. After many fails it worked!

I find it best to pick a pair and stick with it. I don't know if the system keeps track of how many attempts you make or not but know every time I switch to something new I seem to start over with commons again.

Anyway, got it third try with Forest and Firestorm. Also finally got Parakeet.

I got only firestorm and life. 7 fails. Did not even got rare dragon after event finished. Once I spent 12 golds on boosted breed (firestorm) . And I am very unlucky in summoning.

Past few days I saw TL changed the game for me much harder and expensive. My response is now refusing any support. Thats how market goes. Happy new year.

Got it with Gemstone and Scorpion. I was puzzled seeing 9 hours as it's nothing listed in the egg list. Figured out it has to be either Turkey or the new Hanukkah, but that's 15 h so I got my Turkey. Yay!

I seriously need help. I've been trying to get Turkey for the past 6 days, bred 15 (FIFTEEN) times, got none.

Combinations I tried were:
Forest & Firestorm 3 times - got 2 Firestorms & 1 Life
Life & Air 9 times - got 7 Fruitfuls, 1 Fairy, 1 Wild
Fruitful & Fire 3 times - got 3 Firestorms.

I can't believe that people are getting it so easily on the first try.
Trying 15 times just to get a Rare dragon and still failing - is this normal??

I'm on Android, so there is no such thing like boosted stuff.

I've been trying to get this using Dawntree and Honeybee but had been unsuccessful after multiple attempts. I saw this thread, looked through the successful combis, went back and breed Forest with Eagle. First try 9 hours! I'm glad I checked out this forum. funkyquck, you may try this combi. Wasn't able to get this dragon for 2 years in a row now :(
BUT I did get Wildflower, Rex, and Pterodactyl, which were all great. And my last breed popped up 44 hours (Quetzel/Mythic)!! I'm really hoping it's Gold and not Crusader, which I already have. Either way though I can't be too upset at my fails :D
