Whisp lanterns

How do I make the lanterns? When I go to the workshop I dont see an option to make them anywhere. I am at level 7, almost to 8. Thanks in advance for any help.

They are made in the workshop, but may not be unlocked yet-- I can't remember what level you have to achieve to unlock. Five coal make one earth wisp (one hour), three earth wisps make one lantern (four hours). You also can get earth wisps as gifts, from the mine, and sometimes from rocks.
