Why no gold sales? [Archive]

I play zoo, pet, bakery story etc (although not so much since starting dragon story :)) and on those games I always get regular gem sales, at which time I always buy gems. Why don't I ever get a gold sale in dragon story......does anyone??
If TeasmLava is out for our real money (and I know they are) why not give us gold sales so that there might be more people buying gold at theses times?? It would definitely make the game more fun!

Think they mean gold sales like gold going on sale at a discounted rate. I think it happened once.

The gold sales are completely random, as with the gem sales.

Yeah, there hasn't been a gold sale. I think it's because we get our money's worth when buying gold. I mean it's quite a deal getting 120 gold for $4.99 instead of just 24 gems for $4.99.

That's what I do only I don't buy every fortnight, it depends on how much fun I'm having with the game :)

Atually, they did. :p he/she referred to gold sales three times (well, "gem sales" once, to me more precise).

I noticed already, in Zoo Story 2 , that there are gem sales. Personally I won't waste my real money on this game, especially considering how bloody expensive it is, but for people who are interested in buying gold/gems, sales are a good opportunity. A gold sale in DS might actually trigger a gold rush.

If you count the Starter Pack sale, then yes, there's kind of maybe a sale of a sort that has been offered to newer players.

With all the pop-ups appearing in Dragon Story (I count 5 - Zoo Story/Whatever Story, Starter Pack, Zombie Dragon, Aurora Dragon, and Rate and Comment), I'm surprised there isn't a 'Buy 100 Bars for X Discounted Price' ad, too.
