Unfriend people

I would like to unfriend people....could someone explain the way to do this? I befriended people my first day and they only like to take my tips and never return the favor - so I'm done with them. Help appreciated.

You hit the edit button at the top of your neighbours list, then each neighbour will have a delete button next to their name and you can choose who to delete.
