How To Place Evolution Temple

Ok...I feel like a dummy, but I can't place the Evolution Temple. The block shows red no matter where I move it. Am I missing something obvious?

Yeah, I was like that too at the beggining. Then I sold off all of them xD

Yeah, you need to have a 4X4 area completely clear of anything and everything for a evolution chamber and a upgraded habitat.
