some people like to store more food and not sell them to make their bakery look prettier...
but from my experience, i think only low level player do that nowadays...
because after the price hike, we dont earn as much, and food sells slow, so in no time you will have lots of piles of food that you never seem to be able to get rid of!
so dont block the door, eventually youll have too many food after cooking..
and blocking the door is not meant for the game, so if you do it, you might quick sell all youre food....you might now even get the money for it...

My brother looks his door during playing on his phone, otherwise the game blocks, his phone iusn't strong enough..

It's to stop customers from coming in. I block my bakery door when m out of food so that there wouldn't be broken hearts walking out :)

That's my exact reason too.

I just do it when I'm running low on food then when my counters are all full I just open my bakery.
