Questions about New Dawn

I'm a little confused about New Dawn. From what I gathered, it's some sort of expansion as I saw it available for direct download from the App store.

1) Is it a separate game from Dragon Story? If not, how do I update my regular Dragon Story game to New Dawn?

2) Does everything from regular Dragon Story transfer over to New Dawn?

3) I have a couple of goals that require me to spend coins which I have done but not received any rewards. I assume these coins that need to be spent from New Dawn which is the reason I'm not receiving credit for goal completion?

You just download it and your game links together, everything transfers over. No idea about the goals, goals are always glitchy

Will deleting the original Dragon Story application from my iPhone cause my data from Dragon Story: New Dawn to be deleted?

The reason I ask is because a prompt comes up that says all related data will be deleted upon deleting an application. I just wanted to make sure before proceednig.
