Thats not true, if you read some other threads on the same subject you can see that a lot of other combos works, the importent thing is that you have all four elements when you try for the diamond. Purple can count as two (blue and red). I got mine from mindvolt and forestfire.

Hmm I might try both eagle and serpent and Atlantis and scorpion combos
