When is there going to be a new update?

I really love game but all i have left to save up for now is the statue of liberty. Just wondering whether there is going to be a new update because I still want to play the game.

The last 'weekly' update was months ago, so long in fact that nearly all my neighbours have dissapeared with abandoned factories and zero cleaning stars. I'm inclined to follow if I don't get an update soon.

And i'm NOT talking about any more of those infuriating random cases!

I knew the updates are coming very soon ~~~ likely to be this Saturday Dec. 4, 2010.

TL knew that they are behind, the lack of feedback just pissed me off as well.

But I do know that they have to release their holiday updates for all 4 story games at the same time, so that is the reason which took a long time to do...

Likely to be some game coins buildings, expansions beyond 24x24 and of course ... the holiday cases. But this time around, I thought TL may learned from their misjudgment, it will be priced at 20 city cash.

Will see in a few days...

Please add some new "gifts" as well - if I get one moe lousy mobile home I'll .... I don't know what but I'm so bored with the current gifts!

Love the game but, would love to see an option of coins for cash instead of cash for coins. Please consider. Thanks!

I love getting mobile homes! I sell each and every one. The pink mobile home is worth 650 coins. All your other buildings are worth at least 500 coins. Even the trees can be sold for 400 coins. As to a coin for gems update...forget it..never happen. They won't make money that way. Just about every game on this model does not include a coin exchange for that very reason.

ok, so I went to the facebook app games social city and college town. they have EVERY item you can get of the limited selection in city story, plus dozens more. here is a list of items you can get that are not in city story (the format is the same, some buy with in-game coins, some with purchased 'city cash'):

candy store, newspaper stand, sandwich shop, toy store, pizza parlor, pub, car dealers, bus stop, bowling alley, seafood restaurant, mexican restaurants (2), sushi restaurant, art gallery, drive-in, tv & radio stations, wal-mart type store, hospital, baseball stadium (they have the field too like in city story, but this is a major league stadium), hardware store, book store, concert venue/amphitheater, barber shop, casino, dentist, airport, court house, carwash, mall, yoga studio, bbq stand, electronics store, optometrist/sunglass store, music store, record store, camp ground, mini golf, video game store, salon, bike shop, hot dog stand, pool hall, fitness center, museum, karate dojo, skate & surf shop, outdoor store, video rental, aquarium, art museum, laundromat, TONS more residences, TONS more business buildings/skyscrapers.

Now, city story is much better looking, and it's a phone app while these are apps under facebook on a computer. But I can't help but to think that if they made these game into apps, city story would be done. PLEASE Norman, make these items/venues available, and none of us will ever leave, guaranteed. continue to never have updates beyond the silly system of paying $5 for something you don't choose, and we'll all leave once other options become available.

I can't remember the last time we got an update of new buildings that we could actually buy with the coins that we spend all the game-time earning!

I am getting sick and tired of all these magic cases! No more until we get some content that doesn't require city cash!
